CRPF is going to organise a mega football tournament in Kashmir | KNO

It will be organised by Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Ops Sector of CRPF in their respective sectors. Srinagar Sector CRPF is going to host district level football tournament for Srinagar , Budgam and Gandarbal districts in the first phase and the matches will be played from 07 Nov 17 to 26 Nov 17.Winner teams of each district will be rewarded with cash prize of Rs 15,000and runner team will be rewarded with Rs 10,000. All teams will be provided sports kits of Track suits, T Shirt, Jersey, Shorts , Stockings, Shin guards, Football shoes, Kit bag and a football for each and every player. Total eight teams consisting of four top teams from Srinagar district, two teams from Budgam district and two teams from Gandarbal district will be selected for Sector level tournament. Which will be conducted in second and third week of December 2017. Winner and runner teams of sector level tournament will be taken for “ Bharat darshan” apart from the rewards and prizes. Srinagar Sector CRPF is organising this event in Srinagar under its civic action program as directed by the Govt of India. This tournament is being organised to motivate the local youth for extracurricular activities and to develop their overall personality. CRPF has been organising various infrastructure developmental, cultural and sports activities under civic action programme in Jammu and Kashmir to build a bridge between CRPF and local masses and to develop mutual co-operation, understanding and cordial relation between local public and CRPF. CRPF is very hopeful of making this event a great success and looks forward for the support and participation of players as well as local public.
